Let me tell you about our first Valentine’s Day as newlyweds. We had been married for just shy of a year, we already had a baby, and we just found out we were having our second baby! We were young, still trying to find our way, and money was really tight, especially with TWO babies.
I still wanted to get Mr. Gracious something special for Valentine’s Day, but it needed to be really cheap or, even better, free.
In a mommy group I was in, the lovely ladies were discussing these coupon books that you make and fill with handmade coupons for special treats for your husband. I thought it was brilliant!
I decided to make my own. And let me just tell you, he loved it. In fact, he still has the love coupon book, with a few coupons that I guess he’s saving for a rainy day.
I asked him if I could have it to design new ones, and he wouldn’t give them up.
